Melissa Smyth, hand therapist, is a licensed and registered occupational therapist (OTR/L). She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy in 1989 from Northeast Louisiana University.

Ms. Smyth has extensive experience in the field of industrial medicine/rehabilitation and has specialized in hand therapy. Her practice emphasis has been in trauma care including amputations and replantations and with multiple trauma cases.
