Baxter Regional Medical Center recently announced legal action against a manufacturer of total joint implants. This manufacturer has initiated a recall of all implants in question and is working with the FDA and the patients affected to resolve this issue.
None of the orthopaedic surgeons at Knox Orthopaedics has ever implanted any of the joint replacements involved in this or any other current litigation. Our office has strived over the years to ensure that the joint replacement implants that we use are thoroughly tested, and have peer-reviewed documentation attesting to this.
